House Farman is the ruling house on the island of Fair Isle off the coast of the Westerlands. They are a minor house sworn to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. Their seat is Faircastle.

History

Lord Farman once grew rebellious and challenged Lannister rule. In response, it is said that Lord Tywin sent a bard to perform “The Rains of Castamere”, a song remembering the destruction of the rebellious House Reyne by a young Tywin. This ended Lord Farman’s trouble making.
