Proud and Free

House Tallhart is presently ruled by Eddara, Lady of Torrhen's Square. Torrhen’s Square is the seat of House Tallhart, a stone castle near the shores of a great lake southwest of Winterfell.

History

Lady Eddara was nine when her father, then Lord Helman Tallhart, was killed on an ill-fated march on Duskendale. Helman's brother Leobald Tallhart, then castellan of Torrhen's Square while Helman rode with Robb Stark, was killed by the treacherous Ramsay Bolton - the Bastard of the Dreadfort - in an attempt to retake Winterfell from Theon Greyjoy and his ironborn army. Ser Helman’s heir, Benfred Tallhart, eldest son and leader of a knight company known as the "Wild Hares", was killed by Theon Greyjoy after having been sent out to deal with his raiders.

Leobald Tallhart is survived by his wife, Lady Berena of House Hornwood, and his sons Brandon and Beren.
