Hello everyone, I'm Teron. I just stumbled over this site some time ago while actually looking for anything Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire related (including games and mods for games, like the mod for Crusader Kings 2). Still, since I started reading the books a few weeks ago, became a fan of "A song of Ice and Fire" and have Neverwinter Nights 2, I will keep an eye on this site here as well.

Hello folks! Been looking around, and things look promising here! Working on getting myself familiar with all of the Game of Thrones stuff and what not, while trying to flesh out some ideas I have in mind for a character to get a profile/bio thing goin' in the mean time. Hello people. I'm Rory. Don't know who that is? Don't worry. My username is HBh128, call me one or the other.

I discovered this site kind of in accident, but it immediately captured my interest because I'm a fan of the HBO series Game of Thrones, adaptation of the book series Song of Ice and Fire(and recently released game by Telltale Games), not because I play Neverwinter Nights.

What interested me was the creation of a homebrew system for the setting of Westeros and Essos. The idea of magic returning(while of curse still being a low magic setting), and that clergymen could be their own class and still be effective, intrigued me. The music in the teaser gave me the spark I needed to act on that interest, getting an idea of the attitude of your approach to the Game of Thrones dnd/NWN2 expansion.

I'm relatively new to the tabletop gaming scene, but I know how to play, and I understand the importance of roleplay over rollplay. I really enjoyed creating my first character for this system, and I don't really mind if I don't get involved in a frequently advancing campaign. Creating this character was a fun experience, and I just really enjoy making a PC, I put my soul into it, so I made an account just to share it with people. I pooped, and I am proud of my poop, I want to show you. Standby for poop wall-smearing(in the "Characters" subforum) shortly following this post.

If someone decides they want me in a play-by-post campaign, bonus, but PBP is as all I can do for this community. I'm not going to expect anyone here to match my pace if they don't want to, and even then I don't expect it to be that brisk considering the regular pace of activity of recent. If I do end up playing, I'll warn you, the class I chose is different and unfamiliar with what I'm used to, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
